  • Provides the leadership for the sworn officers, reserve officers and non-sworn employees.
  • Sets policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Works with other City Department Heads.

  • Case Clearance
  • Traffic Index

  • Responsible for the safety of all persons within Culver City.
  • Provides responsive Law Enforcement Services to maintain an excellent quality-of-life in the city.
  • Along with the Department’s command staff, directs the three operating bureaus.
  • The Chief organizes the Department to maintain the most efficient and effective methods to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • The Chief is appointed by and reports to the City Council.
  Professional Standards Unit
Responsible for:
  • The Department's Jail Manager.
  • Audits and compliance reviews.
  • Sensitive personnel complaints.
