The Culver City Police Department continuously seeks new technology and training to enhance the level of professionalism and service provided to the Culver City community. BOLAWrap is a new remote restraint technology the department is utilizing to mitigate use of force incidents. This pilot program will equip four officers with the BOLAWrap device and training to be used when appropriate in responses to resistance to keep the public, officers and the subjects involved safe.
