Since 2018, the Culver City Police Department has partnered with the Pink Patch Project and the City of Hope to raise funds to support the fight to end breast cancer. One in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer and this collaborative effort with agencies around the world has raised public awareness about the importance of early detection. With 756 agencies involved, over 900,000 collectable pink uniform patches sold, and over $1.65 million dollars raised, we are winning the fight, but it is still far from over.
